Form Field Notifications

By January 25, 2016 4 Comments

We are excited to announce a significant enhancement to how notifications are sent from form submissions.  In the Form Configurator, you can now set up certain fields to notify personnel when a specific value is selected.  Here are a few examples of how this can be useful:

  • Create a Repair Form to route a message to specific employees based on the equipment that needs repair.
  • For forms that require employees to enter expiration dates, set up a notification to send to select individuals if the date entered is in the past, or is X number of days in the future.
  • Let the person submitting the form choose who is notified by configuring a Members Smart Field with notifications.

Form field notifications are awesome! However, I am really liking the choices for notifications concerning date parameters, but I need some choices in format of the dates. For example, mmyyyy or mmyy would be great for things that are not day specific

  • Dave Feyereisen says:

Good point, Wayne. I'll look into this.

  • Lauren B. says:

Do you have notifications similar to this but for events added to the schedule?

  • Anonymous says:

We do not currently have notifications tied to events. One option could be to use the iCal feature under the My Schedule page to sync events to a mobile device's calendar. To get started configuring this, go to My Schedule and click configure under iCal and subscribe to events – from there you can use the onscreen instructions.
