In the Member Database, expiration dates help track time-sensitive information, such as licenses, certifications, training, and equipment. Administrators and members can receive notifications for expiring and expired dates. Prevent accidental scheduling of members with expired information by defining restrictions on expiration dates.
For notifications on expiration dates, members will be automatically notified, by text and email, for expiring and expired dates. Only Top-Level Administrators can change this notification preference. Administrators can configure notifications to receive texts and emails about expiration dates for other members, as shown in the example below.
Scheduling members, submitting extra hours, and signing up for shifts may be prevented based on restrictions defined in expiration dates. To define a restriction on an expiration date, in the Member Database Configurator, edit the expiration date and select the necessary level of restriction, see the example below.
In the following example, when signing up for a shift, a member is required to get admin approval because the member’s certification has expired.
In the example below, a scheduler is not allowed to add a member to the schedule because the member’s certifications have expired.
