Since Aladtec’s acquisition by TCP Software last year, there have been several developments. In order to align with TCP and improve usability, the Aladtec system has undergone some design changes with not only the color and logo, but the overall look and feel of the system as well. Add in feature updates and there is much to review! Here are several design changes that have been updated.

  • Mobile PTO Tracking

Viewing Time Off  

Being able to view the type of Time Off on the calendar such as vacation, sick or FMLA, may be helpful for all members to see. Other times, whether it is for confidentiality or compliance reasons, you may wish to narrow down that list of members who can view those reasons for taking time off. Now administrators can grant permission at the Access Level, to allow those with scheduling authority to see only their members’ type of time off. 

As shown below, when checking the second option, “Allow viewing of Time Off Types for members over whom the user has scheduling authority,” anyone with that Access Level can view their members Time Off Types. 

Shift Log Layout in Forms 

For those customers using the Time Clock feature in Aladtec, there is now a new Smart Layout in the Form Configurator called Shift Log, as shown below. When added to a form, this section allows members to select a shift from the last 8 days and detail all the relevant activities that took place during that shift. 

When generating a report from a Form with a Shift Log, a special filter has been added to the Edit Filters section that allows you to include only submissions within a specific time range as shown below.
