Senior Systems Administrator

Looking for a Senior Systems Administrator with a database emphasis.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage cloud hosting and offsite server infrastructures
  • Maintain, test, and improve disaster recovery ( DR ) and backup infrastructure
  • Ensure the absolute security of the production environment related to hacks, malware, etc.
  • Ensure servers stay up-to-date with routine patches and updates
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting on server issues and root cause analysis to prevent future incidents
  • Manage all primary and replica databases across Aladtec’s data centers
  • Participate in database monitoring, optimization, and maintenance
  • Rotate evening and weekend on-call emergency server support

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience setting up, tuning, and maintaining a Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP ( LAMP ) production environment
  • Experience managing, verifying, and utilizing MySQL replication
  • Solid understanding of network and computer security, security protocols, and encryption

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience maintaining complex, secure LAMP systems in the AWS environment
  • Experience upgrading MySQL to MariaDB and converting MySQL tables from MyISAM to InnoDB

This is a full-time on-site position located at our River Falls, WI office.

Senior Account Representative

Our Senior Account Representatives develop and maintain relationships with our law enforcement, EMS, fire, dispatch and health care clients nationwide. They grow our business and help our support and engineering teams deliver best in class customer service.

Duties:

  • Excel at result-driven customer service
  • Make outbound sales calls, conduct discovery sessions with warm leads, help resolve client concerns and manage the administrative side of accounts in Salesforce
  • Occasional regional and national travel are possible, but not required

  • Previous experience in software sales, floor leadership, and achieving quotas are pluses

Entry-Level Sales Representative

Our Business Development team members work in a fast-paced environment and play an integral role in Aladtec’s success. They often provide the first introduction for customers to our best in class service.

Duties:

  • Qualify leads from sources and referrals as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through direct calls and emails
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Help build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Report to the Director of Business Development regularly on sales results
  • Stay up-to-date with new product features and pricing plans
  • Become familiar with how customers use our software and share best practices with prospective clients

Technical Support Specialist

We have a position for someone who enjoys both working with technology and helping others solve technical problems. Can you decode technical jargon and then explain it to someone in a relaxed, understandable way? This job requires an individual who enjoys learning software inside and out, then providing service above and beyond what our customers expect.

Duties:

  • Retain customer relationships by providing superior technical support and confidently explaining solutions to complex problems
  • Document all client interaction using an internal call database
  • Provide software support to clients via phone, video, and email
  • Translate technical jargon into user-friendly terms to effectively communicate resolutions
  • Create documentation for both end-user and tech team reference

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Great customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal and written problem analysis
